David Mead will make his return for Papua New Guinea after being named at fullback for the Kumuls Test against Fiji next Saturday.
The Titans flyer opted to play for Country Origin over the Kumuls last year but now forms part of one of the strongest PNG teams assembled for some time.
Mead is one of four players with NRL experience named in the squad with Titans centre Nene McDonald, Raiders hooker Kurt Baptiste and former Dragons prop Luke Page also earning a start.
Mead had previously played eight Tests for the Kumuls between 2008 and 2013 and provides PMG with some much needed experience from the back.
The Kumuls will also boast the inclusion of Raiders centre Kato Ottio, the leading tryscorer in the NSW Cup this season, and the powerful Tigers forward Rod Griffin, who was one of the best for the Ipswich Jets in their State Championship win this season.
Ottio is reportedly close to claiming his first grade debut after a strong start to the season. The PNG Hunters Queensland Cup side contributes 10 players, including halves Ase and Watson Boas and winger Stargroth Amean.
The team will be coached by Hunters mentor Michael Marum.
