PNG Kumul Justin Olam’s future with Melbourne Storms is in Limbo as he awaits the signing of his new contract deal with the NRL club. Speaking to PNG Rugby Football League Chairman Sandis Tsaka on Fulltime Reserve this week, Olam says he has not signed an official contract agreement, however it was just talks and agreements, and added that the media got it all twisted. Melbourne Storm is understood to have agreed to terms with him, however they have not discussed on a new contract when the NRL returns May 28th. The PNG international enjoyed a stellar 2019 season, earning a starting spot in the Storm backline. He was an ever-present in their run to the minor premiership scoring seven tries and averaging over 108m with the ball in hand along the way. The 26-year-old came off contract this year, but the Storm has ensured that they will enjoy some continuity in the backline over the coming seasons. Olam remains hopeful while anticipating the NRL Club (Storms) to decide on his future. Next: Kumuls Captain Martin Praises Gebbie Comments are closed.
