“No pain, no gain” seems to be the motto for the SP PNG Hunters team. The rugby team is now back into full swing with training preparations for the 2014 Intrust Super Cup campaign. The boys have been on a two-week break, and are now back for more hard work leading into their first game in March. Training started on Saturday at the Bomana Police College where the team is currently in camp. The Players and staff are doubling their efforts to be fully prepared for the season. Training has now stepped up for the boys and there’s no going back down. The Hunters boys look as fit as ever, working hard on their strength and condition workouts. Whether it be punching that pad, rolling on the ground, pulling a roll, sprinting the distance and lifting weights in the gym, it’s all about team work, mental and physical preparations. SP PNG Hunters Prop, Mark Mexico, said the preparation is going good and he is looking forward to the first game in march against the Brisbane Redcliffe. He also thanked his family for their support. The players are taking ownership of the team culture and all are working extremely hard towards their goal. EMTV Comments are closed.
