PORT Moresby Rugby Football League’s 2014 season is under a cloud.
The annual general meeting has been deferred four times.
With the deferrals the POMRFL board will invite PNG Rugby Football League to mediate on issue as it is a breach of its constitution.
The deferral was non-compliance of the constitutional requirements as well as lack of quorum.
All the affiliates present were assured that the season would be on schedule as the Murray Barracks oval had been secured for the competition.
An absolute majority was passed a motion that the 16 clubs must submit their 2013 operations and financial reports as well as the K500 affiliation fee before the next sitting.
Clubs in breach will be required to explain why they should not be excluded from the 2014 season.
