Canberra Raiders duo Kurt Baptiste and Kato Ottio have been named in Papua New Guinea’s 18-man squad to play Fiji on May 7 at Pirtek Stadium. Baptiste will mirror his Raiders duties, starting on the bench as a replacement hooker for Queensland Cup PNG Hunters player Wartovo Puara Jnr, while Ottio has been named to play at centre, alongside Gold Coast Titans outside back Nene McDonald. Ottio has impressed for Raiders feeder club Mounties this season after he was initially offered a train and trial deal with the club. He impressed club management at the Auckland Nines and signed a two-year deal in February. Former Raiders forward Luke Page was also named in the Kumuls squad.
